Phase II – Topic #1- Environment

For our first discussion of phase II, we’d like to hear your views on the emergency  environment:

– How do the Red Cross Red Crescent global tools fit into today’s emergency response environment?

-How compatible are these global tools with that of other actors?

– What are the key features of the “Emerging Operational Environment” to which the Movement must adapt?

Phase II – Topic #4 – Gaps and looking forward

For our forth discussion of phase II, we’d like to hear your views on gaps and looking forward:

-Where are the gaps in emergency response that the Movement should be filling?

-Ideally, what should the future global tools look like?

– Are other responding organisations (e.g. UN agencies, their implementing partners and NGOs) meeting better the needs of beneficiaries and first responders that the Movement could learn from?
